National Championships Travel Grant

Helping UCA riders get to the start line at USA Cycling National Championships.

The UCA National Championships Travel Grant helps offset the cost of travelling to compete in a USA Cycling National Championship event. We know that Nationals can be expensive to get to — entry fees, travel, lodging, and time away all add up. This grant won't cover everything, but it's our way of saying that your effort to represent our region on a national stage matters to us.

Grant amounts typically range from $100–$250 depending on available UCA funds and the number of applicants in a given season. Grant applications must be submitted in the same calendar year as the corresponding event or race, except when applications relate to a season’s Cyclocross Nationals that fall early in the following year.

Note: Grantees who do not compete in their registered event may be required to refund the full grant amount.
