DESCRIPTION:The Echo Cyclists Lively Ride is September 20th starting at 10:00 AM. The ride starts at the town of Echo\, goes through the town of Henefer\, \nup  HWY 65  to Hogsback and turns around at the Summit/Morgan County line. The course goes back through the town of Henefer \nand past the town of Echo. The course continues to Echo Canyon until reaching the turnaround sign\, leading cyclists to the finish at \nthe town of Echo\, where we will have snacks\, drinks\, music\, and a good time.

Some might even say it’s all just a legend and this thing never happened. It’s just too epic to have been a thing. To those\, we say come find out.  The Odyssey takes what was the idea of the Brian Head Epic and twists it into a crazy hard day that will have you giggling on the flowy descents and cursing on the climbs. It will challenge you both technically\, physically and mentally. It’s 47 miles with 6900 feet of elevation gain incorporating the ripper descents of Dark Hollow and Bunker Creek\, the rugged Lowder Ponds trail and plenty of climbing in between all above 8500 feet. It will most likely be one of the most challenging and most fun days you’ve ever had.

SUMMARY:Wasatch 50
DESCRIPTION:Nestled above the picturesque town of Midway and resting in the shadow of the Wasatch Mountains lies Soldier Hollow Nordic Center at Wasatch Mountain State Park. A 21\,592 acres nature preserve created in 1961\, which became a state park in 1968. Prior to becoming a state park certain locations within the park were used for farming and grazing activities\, while much of the remainder was used recreationally by locals. The Soldier Hollow venue was one of only three venues designed by the Salt Lake Organizing Committee (SLOC) specifically for the 2002 Winter Olympics; with the others being the Utah Olympic Park and Utah Olympic Oval. During the 2002 games Soldier Hollow hosted the biathlon\, cross-country skiing\, and Nordic combined events. The venue itself hosted 64\,160 biathlon spectators\, 99\,320 cross-country spectators\, and 1\,794 Nordic combined spectators during these events. During the 2002 Winter Paralympics the venue hosted the biathlon and cross-country events. To this day\, Soldier Hollow continues to play an integral role in the development of youth and elite Nordic skiers with year round training\, and competitions from junior championships to biathlon world cups. Summer activities have started to grow\, with mountain bike events\, weddings\, and mud runs all being popular.
