Good Road Climbs in Utah County...

I am looking for some good road climbing routes in Utah County... Does anyone have a favorite route they wouldn't mind sharing?

    Thanks

     Mike

head up American Fork Canyon -  as you head down toward Sundance take the road to cascade springs and climb back out (7 miles down) , head past Sundance down to hwy 89, about 1/2 down turn and climb up south fork to the top (about 4 miles up), take the provo river trail or hwy 89 down to squaw peak (about 4-5 mile tough climb). loop back through orem and pleasant grove back to where you started. Plan for at least a 5-6 hour ride

There are a lot of great climbs in Utah, you can pick just about any canyon. If you are up North Ogden Divide, the climb up to Snowbasin is nice. If you are down south, it is hard to beat the Nebo Loop. But don't look to road races for hill climbing, for some reason they just don't exist anymore. We used to have at least one called Wolf Creek Pass, which is also a nice ride if you are over in Heber Valley. Just ride out to Woodland and keep going up 35 to the summit.
