The Tour de Park City course has been shortend by 22 miles to 148 instead of 170. The change was made to make the race more enticing to all categories. The change was also made to ease some of the pressure on the city of Kamas as well as take out some of the nasty turns to get into Park City.
The result is a longer but doable race that is still freaking hard but not so long. The finish is downhill from Bald Mountain to Coalville where the event starts and finishes.
Check out the course map on www.tourdeparkcity.com or on Garmin Connect at http://connect.garmin.com/activity/35992938
You can download the course right to your Garmin Edge.
I think everyone will like the change in distance and the course layout. There are only three major turns not counting turns in Evanston Wy and they are all right hand turns.
Thanks for the support,
Riley
