Since our new "Masters B" category was added for the 2009 racing season I am
noticing some riders are attempting to double dip on upgrade points. We will
allow Masters B riders to use their results for up to Cat 3.
For Example: A rider in Masters B category places 5th as a Cat 5, is
upgraded to Cat 4 (after total of 10 mass start races) then tries to again use
the same result from the same race for his Cat 3 upgrade. You will only get to
use the same race for one upgrade.
I may also be advising some riders of their forced automatic upgrade. If
you have earned well over the adequate points for an upgrade, you probably need
to start working for teammates or face imminent upgrade!
