They are finally here!  For those of you that have ordered Winning Time chips from SBO, you should start seeing them within a week.
 
As was stated over the last several months, those of us that ordered chips up until now would be receiving them in February or March.  They arrived at SBO a few days ago.  SBO is updating everyone’s profile with the rider’s chip number and then packaging them for shipping.  From here on out, SBO will take orders and ship once a week unless you pay for express shipping.
 
We will be testing the system at RMR on March 14 and 21.  (For more information about RMR and their use of chips, please contact Marek and company.)  The system will be ready to go for our first race, Hell of the North.
 
The chips will not come with any mounting hardware.  Winning Time has a system for the rear chain stay, but we asked them to produce something for the front fork.  It is extremely light and simple, but is still being manufactured.  Until we receive the system, zip ties will be used to attach the chip to the fork (similar to what “milliseconds” uses at LOTOJA or the Porcupine Hill Climb).  The new system will be shipped to SBO and handed out at the races to everyone that has purchased a chip.
